Workouts

Here are some of my FAVORITE workouts that I hope you can come to any time:

Morning Wake-Up:

3 x 20 Jumping Jacks, 15 Squats, 10 Pushups, 5 Burpees

30 Minute walk, make sure to add some hills so that you can get your heart rate up

Cardio Workouts:

30 minute jog – nice and simple

Tempo: 10 minute warm up, 4 x 2 minute walk, 2 minute jog, 2 minute tempo (progress 60%, 80%, 80%, 100%), 5 minute cool down.

Circuits: Set a timer for 25 minutes, set two points about 200 meters apart, pick your 3 favorite exercises and do 10 reps of each at each end. Do a 5 minute active cool down.

Strength:

Weighted: 3 x 10 dumbbell flys, 10 dumbbell bicep curls, 10 dumbbell overhead extension, 10 dumbbell squats

Abs: 100 crunches, 50 leg extensions, 100 crunches, 50 obliques (do as many reps as you would like)

Programs: EverTrain, Popsugar Fitness, Nike Training Club (App)

End of Day:

Short Yoga: 3 x Sun Salutations, 3 x Downward dog to vinyasa, Pigeon pose (60 seconds each side), Puppy pose (60 seconds), happy baby (30 seconds), Savasana (2 minutes)

10 minute easy stretch, 10 deep breaths.
